Vienna

After Amsterdam, we headed to Vienna. I had so much fun playing tourguide for my friends! Showing the girls around allowed me to see the city with a fresh set of eyes...I was really happy that I got to share my love of the city with them. We even did some "touristy" things that I'd yet to do (like climbing one of the towers in Stephansdom...375 steps!!!).

Amsterdam

When the girls told me they wanted to begin their Eurotrip in Amsterdam, I was slightly hesitant about joining them there. I've never had a strong desire to visit the city (the whole "smoke and sex" scene isnt really my thing), but I decided it'd be really great to start their trip with them.

The weekend was a lot of fun, but that was mainly do to the company and not the city itself. Maybe I'm spoiled because Vienna is so gorgeous, but I definitely think Amsterdam is "blah" in terms of sights. There are some great things (the canals, museums, the Dam, etc...) but nothing that took my breath away. However, what Amsterdam lacks in beauty, the people more than make up for it! I found the city to have a really great vibe...lots of friendly, artsy, hip people, with a bunch of crazy characters mixed in, and that's just the way I like it ;)

Danish Invasion

As you may have noticed, I havent had any time to travel the past month :( However, I did have the pleasure of showing my friend Christian (from Denmark) and his 6 friends around Vienna this past weekend. It's a rough life ;)

Life Ball 2009

We went to the afterparty for Life Ball (the huge annual AIDS/HIV awareness charity event in Vienna) and had an amazing time with all of the crazy characters.

Cesky Krumlov

I went to Cesky Krumlov again with this term's global students. The weather was perfect! Once again, I didnt take many pictures because I've been on this trip several times before.

Easter in Frankfurt

I spent Easter in Frankfurt with Tanti, Omi and Opa and Tante Johanna and Onkel Chris. It was really great to be able to spend a relaxing weekend with family. I didnt take many pictures because this was my 5th time in Frankfurt and we basically spent the entire weekend eating :)

Belgium

Belgium was fantastic- Great beer, sinfully delicious chocolate and fabulous french accents...what more can you ask for? C'est si bon!

Budapest

I went on a spontaneous trip to Budapest- I loved it so much and I'm already trying to plan another trip there sometime in the next few months!
